Valtteri Bottas is a Finnish F1 driver who is currently in action for grid newcomers Cadillac in 2026. Bottas (born August 28, 1989 in Nastola) is one of the most popular drivers on the grid and now wins hearts and minds with his fun social media posts. Bottas made his F1 debut for Williams in 2013, quickly establishing a reputation as a brilliantly fast driver. Strong results there won Bottas a move to Mercedes to partner Lewis Hamilton after the retirement of Nico Rosberg in 2016. Bottas left Mercedes at the end of 2021 and spent the next three years at Alfa Romeo and Sauber before having a year as test driver for Mercedes in 2025. He had 10 Grand Prix victories on his resume by the end of 2025. He current lives in Monaco with partner and Australian pro cyclist Tiffany Cromwell, and recently bought a second home in McLaren Vale, South Australia.
