Mexican NASCAR Series at Mexico City in 2012

The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series continues this weekend, with first ever points-paying race to be held in Mexico.

The Viva Mexico 250 is set to see 100 laps of action around the 2.417 mile Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City (which, yes, does technically make it a 241.7 mile race).

The series heads south of the border off the back of a brilliant Michigan race which went right down to the wire, where Denny Hamlin secured his third victory of the season.

Last weekend's race, the first of the inaugural In-Season Tournament's seeding rounds, was an incredible tense battle filled with overtakes and peppered with fuel capacity drama.

It took until the last five laps for Hamlin to get his car's nose ahead of William Byron's, with the latter pushing so hard he was forced to pit for fuel as the while flag waved.

However, Hamlin may not even be at this weekend's race, as he waits with fiancee Jordan Fish for the birth of his third child.

Despite that late drama, Byron's existing lead means that he still tops the Cup Series standings heading into this weekend, with Kyle Larson by far the closest driver on his tail, 41 points behind.

Elsewhere, Hamlin, Christopher Bell and Chase Elliott round out the top five in the regular season rankings, and it will certainly be interesting to see how the top of the order gets shaken up come Sunday.

With that said, let's take a look at all of the timing and TV details you need to know ahead of this weekend's action!
