Ronan Murphy is a highly-experienced sports journalist and pundit, having worked with some of the world's biggest brands and has appeared on various television networks all around the world.
Primarily a football journalist, Murphy is considered one of the world's leading authorities on the Bundesliga and German football.
In recent years, he has also turned his attentions to Formula 1, looking at the lighter side of motorsport and not just the serious and technical aspects.
Murphy is the Head of Social and Multimedia for Real Times Network's English brands, overseeing all graphic and video content for GPFans, FootballTransfers and a host of other websites.
Murphy is an expert in the personal side of Formula 1, looking at the connections between the drivers and their fans as well as other off-the-grid aspects.
He covers races with a softer tone, brought from his previous career working in the entertainment industry as an award-winning music, culture and gaming writer.
Murphy has a lot of hands-on experience covering sports worldwide, including attending FIFA World Cups, UEFA Champions League matches and many international sporting events.
On television and radio, he has covered Formula 1, football, tennis, American football, rugby and many other sports, and has appeared on BBC, Sky Sports, Sony Sports and ESPN.
Murphy often takes a softer approach to covering sport, looking for stories that other journalists or brands may not cover.
He can also take on more serious stories and give them the attention they deserve, but feels mostly that sport is a form of entertainment and should be treated as such.
