Corrections policy

At GPFans.com we strive for complete accuracy and reliability in our reporting. Still, mistakes can happen. We believe it is important to be open and honest about them. Transparency is an essential part of credible sports journalism.

How we handle corrections

When an error is identified, we fix it as quickly as possible. We distinguish between minor and major corrections.

Minor corrections

Typos, grammatical adjustments or small factual improvements that do not change the meaning are updated immediately without a separate note.

Major corrections

If a change affects the meaning, context or interpretation of an article, we add a note at the bottom stating what was changed and on which date.

Our goal is that readers can always trust the timeliness and accuracy of our publications.

How a correction is made

Readers and editors can report errors via the feedback form or by email. Each report is assessed by a senior editor. If the report is valid, the change is typically processed within 24 to 48 hours.

For every report we carefully consider:

  • The nature of the error (factual, linguistic or interpretive).
  • The impact on the article or the reader.
  • Whether a correction note is necessary.
