Daniel Ricciardo dropped an earth-shattering announcement on Friday, confirming that he will leave Red Bull at the end of the season for Renault. It was no surprise to see social media explode when the news was revealed.
Me right now thinking of the drive market. Who replaces Vandoorne? Where does Ocon go? Who goes to Red Bull? What about Norris? #ricciardo #f1 #danielricciardo pic.twitter.com/9UyOnG7EbH — LowFeelsBlvd (@jamesdaykin) August 3, 2018

So Ricciardo so gone to partner Hulkenberg at Renault for 2019.
Does this mean that Sainz Jr. is finally going to get promoted to Red Bull?

My initial reaction to Ricciardo going to Renault next year. But could be worse. #F1 could've gone to McLaren, dear lord. pic.twitter.com/9YFJcIefKp — Josef Barker (@josefbarker1988) August 3, 2018
