Nikita Mazepin has undergone a seat fit on his first day at the Haas factory.
Mazepin is set to make his Formula 1 debut this season alongside new team-mate Mick Schumacher after both were promoted from F2 as replacements for Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen.
The 21-year-old Russian has already courted controversy which is certain to spill over into the start of the new campaign after he posting a video on a social media account in December in which he could be seen groping a breast of a female friend.
While strong condemnation followed from all areas of motorsport, with many critics believing Mazepin should have been stripped of his race seat, Haas dealt with the matter behind closed doors.
F1 and the FIA were also highly critical but opted not to step in to deliver their own punishment, and instead left it to Haas to resolve the issue.
In the seat-fit video posted on Haas' Youtube account, Mazepin is seen in discussion with various members of the team as they attempt to get him comfortable in a car that is the only one from the 10 marques on the grid yet to confirm a launch date.
