Bottas most to blame for Grosjean crash - Wolff
Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff said Valtteri Bottas was mostly to blame for his collision with Romain Grosjean during FP2 for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Bottas was quickest in both practice sessions at the Yas Marina Circuit on Friday, but will start Sunday's race at the back of the grid, having brought a fresh Mercedes engine to Abu Dhabi.
While putting together long-run simulations, he made a last-gasp lunge up the inside of Grosjean, who turned sharply into the corner, having seemingly not seen the Mercedes in his mirrors.
Wolff pointed out that Bottas had made a similar move on the Toro Rosso of Pierre Gasly earlier in the session, but said the Finn had maybe been too ambitious.

"Unfortunately a lot of damage on the Haas and also for us," Wolff told Sky Sports. "I think Valtteri made that move on Gasly a few laps a few laps before and it's always... for me, I completely don't get this consecutive lap thing, that everybody seems to be blocking everybody.
"But Valtteri certainly came from far back, so I think the majority of responsibility [is] on us.
"I think we were much faster and probably he thought that Grosjean realised it too and would have left the door open but, yeah…"
